THE GLAMOUR SALON AND BARBERSHOP

The Glamour Salon and Barber shop is located in Moi University main campus Kesses, at a place commonly known as ‘stage’ near Mwangaza Hotel. It was started by a current third year student. It was a small business when it was started yet it has grown to a big salon and barber shop within the campus.
The owner of this salon has been able to employ other students to work there so that they can be able to get money for their upkeep. This small business has motivated or encouraged other students within the campus to also think about other business ideas so that they can get money to do their things without necessarily asking their parents for money.
They offer a lot of services within the salon. They have about 5-10 people working together so as to provide faster services to their customers. They also offer other services that the client did not actually ask for. By doing this they encourage more customers to their salon. They operate from 8.00 AM to 10.00 PM.
