MOI UNIVERSITY STUDENTS POLITICS

The elections of Moi University Student Organisation (MUSO) are just around the corner and students who have political ambitions are busy campaigning for various positions. Several delegates have already started their campaigns. They have already created whatsapp groups whereby they are selling their manifestos and urging fellow comrades to vote for them. According to MUSO the organisation was created to serve students community in the pursuit of academic and social welfare, peace, prosperity, integrity and dignity. Above is delegate 001 he is campaigning to be in of in charge of academics within the school.

Objectives of MUSO
1. Establish an efficient ,effective and transparent students’ government
2. Ensure fair gender representation and participation in students affairs in the university and seek address in the matters of social welfare of members equitably
3. Actively work for the advancement of Moi University ,avoiding any action which cause damage to the property of the school
4. Develop positive relationships with the general public through participation in community services and other related projects
Responsibilities of a student leader
1. Demonstrate respect for the school comrades their wishes and aspirations.
2. Upholds the dignity and place of Moi University as a university with a difference.
3. Instils in the students leader the courage and determination to serve rather than rule MUSO

Conduct of a student leader
1. Should behave whether in public life and official life, private life or in association with other persons in a manner that avoids conflicts.
2. Should be well dressed every time.
Should be honest
3. Attend all meetings and also respond when called upon.

As the campaigns are still going on let’s prepare well for the upcoming elections and pests choose our leaders wisely. Anyway let’s vote for Hakeem💪😂viva!
